Introvert or extravert?

These labels may not mean what you think.

I hear people say I’m an ambivert or I seem like an extravert but I need a lot of time on my own.

It tells me that the usual labels don’t quite capture our real experience.

But Jung was not talking about sociability.

He was talking about attention.

Where it goes. How we refuel.

This feels more helpful to me than deciding which box we fall into.

Especially when life is changing and so are we.

I wrote about this some more here if this is a topic that intrgues you and if you are trying to figure out where you fit.
